At the heart of the game are refs!

Our referees!

Rugby is a game of passion, teamwork, and respect—and at the heart of it all are our wonderful rugby and touch rugby referees whom you see below. Without them, the game simply wouldn’t happen. Our referees play a crucial role in ensuring that matches are played safely, fairly, and within the spirit of the game. Their dedication, knowledge, and commitment to upholding the laws of rugby make them an indispensable part of the sport. Their role goes beyond making calls; they help maintain player safety, uphold sportsmanship, and facilitate the flow of the game.

Our club has a real need to increase the number of their referees, so, whether you are a former player looking to stay involved in the sport, a fan eager to contribute in a new way, or someone looking for an exciting challenge, refereeing offers an incredible opportunity to give back to the game you love. It can help you stay active and engaged in rugby, develop leadership and decision-making skills, build connections and gain a deeper understanding of the game.
