Created in 2005, the BBRFC Celtic Touch rugby section is the first Touch rugby section in Belgium.

Touch is the non-tackle version of rugby. Inclusive and mixed, touch is based on avoidance, speed and teamwork. It can be an alternative for people who want to enjoy rugby without the rough contact or be a complement for traditional rugby players.

Our training sessions are light hearted with emphasis on game play complemented by some ball handling and skills. We have a wide range of abilities and ages and are always keen to welcome new players, regardless of experience.

Our Teams

As a club that welcomes any and all players, rest assured that we will find the team that is right for your rugby level and experience. Come to training and the coaches and captains will work to get you onto the pitch as soon as possible!

Dragonflies – D1

After finishing 3rd in the competitive division last year, our Dragonflies team is aiming to remain on the podium this year and even finish higher than last year! Make sure to follow them on our social media pages for updates on their matches and results!

  • ADULT TRAINING (15 years and older):

    Mondays 7:30p.m.-9:30p.m. at Tritomas - Rue des Tritomas, 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort

    Fridays 6:45pm-8:30pm at VUB - Bd du Triomphe 40, 1050 Ixelles


    JUNIOR TRAINING (U8 - U15):

  • BBRFC Celtic participates in the Belgian Touch Championship. For the past two seasons, we have two teams, allowing us to develop our players as much as possible:

    • The “Dragonflies” in competitive division (D1)

    • The “Butterflies” in the challenge division (D2)

    The club also participates annually in several tournaments in Belgium and abroad. These tournaments can be social or competitive.

Joining & fees

To welcome you in the best possible conditions, we regularly organize open training sessions for new touch players. New players can participate in 3 sessions for free before officially joining the club. Send us an email to schedule a date for your first training session (touch@bbrfcceltic.eu).

Once you decide to join our club, our touch reps will send you the procedures to follow. The membership fee is €245 (standard) and €155 (reduced rate or half-season). This covers various expenses such as insurance, pitch rental, and training equipment.
