Welcome to the Under 6 Section of BBRFC Celtic Rugby Club!

At BBRFC Celtic, we take immense pride in being a multicultural and inclusive rugby community located in the vibrant heart of Brussels. Our Under 6 section is a perfect reflection of this diversity, bringing together (very) young players from all over the world to share in the joy of rugby.

For children aged four, five and six, this is their first step into the world of rugby—a place where they can learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Our emphasis is on teamwork, respect, and the values of sportsmanship that rugby is famous for, while celebrating the unique cultural backgrounds of every child and family in our club.

Through playful exercises and engaging activities, our experienced coaches introduce the basic skills of passing, catching, and running with the ball. More importantly, they foster a love for the game and teach the value of friendship and collaboration—on and off the field.

Whether your child has already had some exposure or is completely new to the sport, the Under 6 section is the perfect place to start their rugby journey, build confidence, and make lifelong memories with teammates from around the globe.

Practical Information

  • Coach(es): James Parker (Head Coach), Alexandre Biard, Pernille Prêcheur and Veerle Vanraes (Manager)

  • Year of Birth: 2019 or later (From 4 years old)

  • Training: Every Saturday morning from 09h00 to 10h00, and to 10h00 to 11h00, at the VU Saturday tournaments, home or away, when scheduled are in the morning and or afternoon.
